    Origins of Heaven's Hold

Heaven’s Hold is founded as a minor collective focused on occult studies, with founding members united by a shared curiosity about supernatural phenomena and esoteric knowledge. Their gatherings remain intentionally discreet, consisting of ritualistic practices and information exchange shielded from public scrutiny. To outside observers, these activities may seem eccentric but ultimately harmless—strange, perhaps, but benign.

    Expansion and Influence

As membership expands, so does the complexity and secrecy of the group’s operations. Individuals occupying influential roles—corporate, political, or otherwise—become involved, recognizing the group’s potential as an instrument of power. The widespread anxiety of the Satanic Panic era in the 1980s and 1990s inadvertently furnishes Heaven’s Hold with an effective cover. While mainstream attention fixates on sensationalized threats of occult activity, the organization exploits the distraction, consolidating internal structure and extending its network.

    Watching and Dreaming

Whether or not the group ever truly believed in their own doctrine became irrelevant. One day, something noticed them—something greater. Even the founders were unprepared for the realization that they had drawn the attention of a higher power. For the first time, Heaven’s Hold was afraid. The entity’s nature was unknown. It did not speak, and no one knew what it wanted. But its presence could be felt—dense, oppressive, divine. It made itself known through physical, undeniable manifestations: power beyond comprehension, bound by strange, cosmic laws. Though no one could describe its form, they felt its gaze, its movements, its watching. Heaven’s Hold chose not to wait. They lured the entity, studied its behavior, and discovered the limits of its influence. In its restraint, they saw opportunity. For the first time, the name “Heaven’s Hold” meant something literal. They built a fortress—a prison and a temple—where the being could be sealed and its power quietly harvested. The prison could only hold the deity for so long, but it was enough to give the group time to prepare. They needed to find a permanent solution.
